The motivation

Have you ever asked yourself, why you have to use different applications for editing requirements, for creating test specifications or tracking bugs etc., each with a different way to navigate and search and no direct links between the logically related objects of each other? Did you have problems customizing such applications to your needs? Maybe you could not even find a supporting application for your specific artifact at all?

Or have you ever written a good software documentation and it became obsolete soon and could no longer be used? Implementation had changed, but the documentation had not been updated.

The nodes application has been created with these questions in mind. It is a content management system (CMS) for software development artifacts. New artifact types and HTML templates for their presentation can be added according to your needs.
